The village itself has two small shops and coffee bars, and in the neighbouring village just 5 minutes away there is a beautiful country house hotel and restaurant where they serve the most delicious sachs (typical Bulgarian hot sizzling plate of meat and veggies!)
There are 1 or 2 other UK owned properties in this village and there is also a vinery and distillery in the neighbouring village too, if you enjoy a tipple and would like to see how it is made.
This house is available for sale direct by the current owner for 14000 leva (approximately 6500 pounds, depending on exchange rate) who is Bulgarian, and a friend of ours, but doesn’t speak English so myself and my partner are sharing it for them and are available to take you to view, help with all the sales documentation, translations and purchase contracts etc if needed too…….
We would always advise you to arrange to come over and view before you buy, as it is so important to explore your potential location here in Bulgaria before getting carried away and we would highly recommend that you take the time to come and look at both the property and the area to see if it is what you really are looking for …….
You can though, of course, arrange buy without visting (yes some people do do this) and send a non returnable deposit, to secure the property, and then either proceed with completion via power of attorney to a lawyer or other trusted person here in Bulgaria, or come over in person to complete the purchase, which would normally be between 14 and 30 days after agreeing to purchase, and paying your deposit. (if you are sure this is the house for you and you are not able to immediately come over and view…….)
